The Australian International O’pen Skiff Association will lead the development of our young sailors by ensuring the O’pen Skiff class offers quality regional, state, and national competition while retaining a strong foundation of fun, adventure and friendship among the sailors and their families.
The O’pen Skiff class is growing fast and is becoming more recognised within the sailing community as a skiff alternative to the older style of dinghy for junior sailors. Our aim is not to have every kid a racer doing laps, but every IOB sailor enjoying the sport for a lifetime. More importantly kids on the water are comparing the O’pen Skiff to the established junior classes and wanting to try sailing.

Sailing Instructions (World Sailing Template)
This template provides a set of tested sailing instructions designed primarily for major championship regattas for one or more classes. It therefore will be particularly useful for world, continental and national championships and other events of similar importance. The template can also be useful for other events; however, for such events some of these instructions will be unnecessary or undesirable. Race officers should therefore be careful in making their choices.
